If you?ve not logged into LinkedIN for a while you may be surprised at what welcomes you. Earlier this week LinkedIN started rolling out a new user interface to it?s users, which has shown some fairly dramatic changes. Although the new interface isn?t available for all users as of yet, the redesign is expected to be on all profiles within the next few weeks.
The old clean white interface has now been replaced with a more identifiable navigation bar which boasts?similarities?to that of popular social networking site Twitter. The old whiteboard interface has now been displaced with a full black navigation bar which helps users navigate the site using quick links and the?familiar?search box.
One blog post from LinkedIN employee Caroline Gaffney said ?We?re always looking for new ways to make the Homepage experience better, more efficient and a place where you can come everyday to get what you need to be productive and successful. This is just the beginning of many more exciting, new features we plan to bring to the Homepage to offer more customization and functionality this year. We look forward to making the LinkedIn Homepage your go-to destination to discover and discuss what matters to you, your industry and your professionals network around the world.?
These changes come quickly after the news that Twitter and LinkedIN have ended their partnership resulting in a much less cluttered news feed for those avid users of the popular networking site.
