DiCaprio's Malibu Home Listed at $23 Million
Leonardo DiCaprio?s Malibu home first made news when it hit the luxury real estate market as a pretty pricey rental and now, it?s making news again. According to The Los Angeles Times, after a summer of unsuccessfully trying to rent out the Malibu Colony estate, the mega star has officially put one, of his two Malibu homes, on the market for $23 million. Before the sale sign went up, the asking rental price was $75,000 per month for a long-term lease or $150,000 per month for leases six months and under. The Cape Cod inspired home along the celebrity studded beachfront, has a 4 bedroom main house with some pretty amazing ocean views, a detached 2 bedroom guest house and what is described as ?a detached loft with a gym, media room and 7th bedroom?. The estate, which was called a ?just-completed beautiful remodel? in the original rental listing, was built in 1927 and according to the listing on Zillow, is 2,633 square feet. In addition to the prime beachfront location, the house also has a rarity for the area? gardens and grass leading to the oceanfront deck.

While, as mentioned earlier, Leonardo DiCaprio owns another home in Malibu, he is reportedly spending much of his time in New York City. He recently purchased an eco-friendly Battery Park penthouse in Manhattan. Clearly, if he finds himself missing the California sun and surf, he always has his other Malibu house to go home to.
